Creating More Effective Graphs

Naomi B Robbins

A recent (2005) must read book for anyone who is serious about charting, graphical analysis.

I highly recommend this short, concise, well written book. It includes excellent examples to explain key points.

Explains why pie, stacked bar and area charts are not good for data presentation. Learn about dot plots, the better alternative. Discussion on trellis displays explains why high end data analysts use R or S-plus for charting.
